These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EverCalc mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by Slow Forge Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

EverCalc is a mobile calculator application that provides mathematical calculation capabilities, persistent calculation history with tagging and categorization, multi-step session recording, and optional cloud backup via Google Drive. The Service is available as a free tier with optional premium upgrade (EverCalc Pro).

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication methods (Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Email & Password). You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Free Tier & EverCalc Pro Subscription

3.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides unlimited basic and complex calculations, live result preview, the ability to save up to 50 calculation sessions with categories, tags, and notes, and access to light and dark themes. Free-tier users may see banner advertisements.

3.2 EverCalc Pro

EverCalc Pro is a premium subscription that unlocks unlimited calculation history, Google Drive cloud sync and backup, exclusive theme customizations, and an ad-free experience. Subscriptions are managed through your app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

3.3 Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or app store policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Service or any part of it.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, icons, and content, is owned bySlow Forge Studio and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. User Data & Content

You retain ownership of all calculation data, titles, tags, notes, and other content you create within the Service. By using the Google Drive sync feature, you authorize the Service to read and write data to your Google Drive account solely for the purpose of backup and synchronization.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slow Forge Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slow Forge Studio, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
